Opening day baseball!

I thought this was a neat picture...Natalie is playing on a Machine pitch team so, she is playing pitcher right now~she is just standing next to the machine as the ball gets thrown to the hitter...she did a great job! She is trying so hard! I am so proud of her!
Lindsey playing in the dirt in between hitters~getting a little bit bored. And then when the ball does finally come her way-her and about 5 others all dive and fight for it.
Are baseball players supposed to be this CUTE??!?!?
Good hit Lindsey! Run, Lindzer, Run!
Lindsey decided she wanted "Lindzer" put on her shirt. The coach said they could have first names, last names or a nickname on their shirt. Uncle Chris gave her the "Lindzer" nickname so, that is what she picked! I think it fits her perfectly!

My 3 lucky charms!

I am so lucky to have each one of these beautiful little people in my life!!

Is it March or July????

Well, this weeks weather has been really, really nice. It's crazy! The kids had been bugging me for days to play in the hose or in the sprinklers so, I finally caved in and let them! The temp. was probably in the low 80's. Of course, it felt much warmer, just because we are not used to it yet. They had a great time "cooling off" in the nice warm sun!

Ice skating!

We went Ice Skating with our Brownie troop this week! It was fun-(I didn't ice skate!) So, it was fun watching them. We went last year too and they loved it so much they wanted to go again! The girls were so proud when they would fall! I think they are going to have some bruised booties! Natalie so proud to have fallen again!

Lindsey did so good! She fell quite a few times but, got right back up and kept going! One of the times when she fell, someone got her hand with their ice skate! OUCH! The brothers thought a better use for the "walkers" was to sit on them in the middle of the ice arena!

Got Milk????

Hey,,,anyone got some MILK?? This what happens when you say YES or SURE you can store all the EXTRA girl scout cookies your garage for the month! I was delivered almost 300 cases of cookies and each case has 12 boxes inside! That is a lot of cookies! I am called the cookie cupboard for the area. When troops run out of cookies they come to our "cupboard" to get more. I have had another delivery of cookies since this order came. I didn't think I would run out of cookies but, I was! I was almost out of mints! So, this week I got another 195 cases! Thank goodness the cookie sale will be over in 2 weeks!
It's been kind of funny though as far as the weather,, keeping the cookies safe!. For a few days we couldn't open the garage because it was raining and the cookies are all the way to the edge and they were getting wet. And then this weekend we had to keep the garage shut again so, this time they didn't melt. Daryle has taken his garage being temporary out of service rather well. I had checked with him before I had ever said yes,, that I would do this. And then leading up to it he just complained, complained, complained! ugh! I told him, he was the one who said it was o.k. so, he needed to stop! I swear men complain just as much or MORE than women,, although they never think so.
Aren't these the 2 cutest cookies you have ever seen??? This was our attempt to deliver cookies one day. We made it to about 2 driveways and it started POURING rain on us. Needless to say, the umbrella was used to keep the cookies dry....Natalie has done really good at selling with the help of her mom, dad and a few friends! Her goal was 600 and I think she might actually make it. Possibly....she is going to be really, really close. She's at about 565 right now. That is crazy~I can't believe we have sold that many cookies! I kept telling her this is her year because next year Lindsey will be selling too!

Vintage pictures

Every year I have always wanted to do these pictures at JCPenney's and I have always missed it! Well-finally, I asked at the right time and they were doing them again. I figured this was my last chance! As it was, I had to bribe Tyler and Lindsey with a Happy Meal if they wouldn't complain too much! I thought they turned out pretty cute and the torture didn't last too long~I think they may of even had fun!
Natalie didn't complain at all! I think she is going to a picture girl like me! She never minds being in front of the camera.
Handsome Tyler! He is such a good sport for his mom!
I thought this was so cute of Lindsey looking in the mirror.
Say CHEESE!

What a catch!

Tyler caught his first "real" FISH over the weekend! He has caught smaller ones before but, usually not one big enough to keep! He was so excited and proud! It was a 27 inch stripier. Daryle came home empty handed as usual! Poor guy! We cooked Tyler's fish that night for dinner.
I don't think anyone cared for it all that much, it was a tougher fish meat.

Tyler

Tyler will be bridging to Boy Scouts on February 26! We went last week and had his picture taken in his Webelos uniform before he tranforms into a BOY SCOUT! Seems like he was just a Tiger cub scout. Now he is going on to a whole new adventure! And it will be neat to see him grow with it! Tyler has tried many different activites.....soccer, baseball, basketball, Karate, Takewondo,,,,but, Scouts has always stuck with him. He loves it and we have been so fortunate to have such an incredible Scout family for the last 5 years! When I took him in for these pictures I was set that I was just going to get the $7.99 package! For most of you, who know my love of pictures the package was plenty. But, all these portrait places have gone digital now and they can do so much! They get you big time! So, my $7.99 package turned into $60.00. Oh well, I only have one boy-right?!?! I can always justify it in my head!

Valentine's 2007

Valentine's Day eve.....
I love these special times with these little people
in our life! I just wish they'd stay little. They are
growing up too fast!

Our Valentine's was a very busy day so, we
celebrated the night before with a nice dinner
& a small little something for each other.

O.K. This is my 3rd attempt to add these
pictures to my blog. I am having one heck
of a time since switching to the "new blog"
to add stuff. Anyways, I hope they make it
on here now or I'm going to SCREAM!

We were walking home from playing at the
playground and they were holding hands so,
I hurried to snap a picture!

Tea 4 Three!

The girls and I went to the Tea 4 two-(three!) party
with Girl scouts last Saturday! We had a nice GIRL day
together,,,we had lots of goodies to eat and some Tea and
Hawaiian Punch! Each girl and adult got a prize and we played
some fun games.....

Love my girls! It's fun to have girl time. Tyler
got to spend the day with Daryle at work! He
was in HOG HEAVEN! He had big tears last night
because he wanted to go back with him today!

13 years old in May this year!
She does look pretty comfty though!

Natalie's Solar system project!

Natalie had a SOLAR SYSTEM project due last week. She had actually picked SATURN as her planet but, wanted to make all the planets together. She and Daryle worked all weekend on this~I thought they did a great job! Can you tell she is mad at me in the picture. I can't even remember now what we were arguing about. :o)

Monster TRUCKS!

We went to the Monster truck show in Sacramento
over the weekend...Tyler had a blast....the girls said
they liked it but, I think they were glad when it was over.

It was very LOUD!
Afterwards, you could stay and get autographs!
I could tell Tyler really wanted to stay and the line
was so long....he got big tears in his eyes so, we
stayed....it only took about 45 mins but, the smile
on his face was priceless! He was so excited!

Natalie's Field trip!

Don't you just love field trips! Natalie's class and 4 other classes took a trip to the Exploratorium in San Francisco last Thursday. She rode the bus but, me and some other moms drove~much better idea! We had a great time although I thought they could of put another girl in our group. We were with all boys! I think she had fun though. She really wanted to see the Cow eye get cut up but, we didn't have time. How often do you get to get a drink from the toilet? As we walked back out to the bus one of the teachers said to me,"ITS OVER!" I couldn't agree more!

Cousin time!

Barrett, Tyler, Cayden, Natalie, Payten, Lindsey, Ryley and Davin! They are always so good about posing for a picture for me! They know how I am and figure its probably better just to suffer for a few seconds and get it over with!

We got to meet up with our cousins this past weekend in Sacramento and see Cousin Barrett play soccer for a Tournment he was in. His team WON so, they are on to next round(weekend)to play again. What a great game it was...the score was only 1-0 so, it was very nail biting. My kids just loved being with their cousins and hanging out for a few hours. Posted by Picasa

Happy New year!

We had a great New Year's dinner with our family. The kids enjoyed toasting and drinking to the new year with Sparkling Apple Cider-(I think they just enjoyed us letting them drink from wine glasses!)

New Year's eve

Waiting for midnight with a nice, tasty milkshake!

The kids loved firing off the little poppers and guns. We did them inside~just too cold outside. We had a nice mess afterwards but, they had fun!

We actually all made it to midnight! I wasn't sure if we would all make it or not and we did! Lindsey tried to fall asleep about 10 mins before midnight but, I got her to stay awake. We usually play a few games or watch movies but, this year we shared our wedding video with our kids.It was the first time I had watched it in over 3 years. It was fun watching it with them because they were a good distraction to the sad heart I felt with seeing all the loved ones we have lost, friends we don't hardly get to see and friends that have moved away. I really enjoyed watching it after so long..seeing my Dad, hearing him talk, Seeing my grandpa's, old friends~it was great. Posted by Picasa

Scrapbook night

My girls and I had a scrapbook night last week for a few hours. We went to the Mom and me scrap night at one of the stores here. I think they had a good time and loved spending some of their birthday money on stickers and other fun stuff. I hope we can keep doing this together. Natalie really has the scrapping down but, Lindsey still gets really frustrated but, she really does do a good job, she just doesn't think so. Posted by Picasa
