They have a new area in Marine World where you can feed the birds. These birds are so pretty. They fly all over and you could have 3-4 on you at a time. 
Can you tell he is mad at me? I made him ride with his sisters! I know mean mother!
They had a great time on the Bumper cars. Lindsey did not like to get hit. 
They went on the bumper cars 4 times in a row... there was nobody in line waiting
so the guy just let them stay on!
We played hookie from school on Monday and went to Marine World for a few hours. The kids did go to school in the morning and I got them out when Lindsey got out so,we went and played!! All the other schools around us started back 2 school Monday so, the place was quiet! It was great...
Tyler brought home his first progress report for the first 3 weeks of school and he had only 2 B's, the rest were almost all A+'s. Not just A's,,,, A+'s!!!! We were so very proud of him, Daryle stopped at Baskin Robbin's on the way home and bought him a special treat! Let's hope this continues for him!

VICTORY SPLASH!!! THe beginning of Scout season is the Rain gutter Regatta! The boys make boats and then race them by, "blowing" them to the finish line. Tyler did really well, he came in 2nd in his Den. They also had the kids reach into jell-o to find hidden toys. They were very sticky!
They were really good being stuck at their brother's Cub scout event for 4 hours. Hey, at least it was at the park and it was only about 75 outside.
Friday was Mix & Match Day at school. I think they should of called it "tacky" day instead! The girls had fun wearing 2 different shoes!
I just thought this picture was too funny so, I had to include it in here. We tried to go outside and take first day of school pictures, it was just to darn windy & cold! We lasted for one picture! Anyone that knows where we live, knows we get the wind here-it is still weird to me having to wear jackets in August!
I sent my baby to school today, I knew that she would learn & play, I watched you walk away, choked back my tears and tried to look o.k.
I have an empty house! My Baby is in kindergarten! I have been having big anxiety with this all week long and today when it was time to go, she was o.k. and I was actually o.k. She was so ready, its like the saying..."letting go, when you want to hold on..." well, I get it...and I know this is just the beginning of many times that I'm gonna want to hold on..
Our Natie started the 3rd grade today! Seems like she was just in kindergarten. She looked so cute this morning and was ready to go out the door! She is very anxious to learn cursive this year.
Our boy is in the 5th grade! I was telling him last night that I can remember when I was in the 5th grade! Wow! Hopefully, he will have a great year and enjoy it more than he thinks he is going too. I am alittle nervous though, I have heard they learn about where babies come from now in the 5th grade. I am not sure I am ready for him to know that stuff yet!

Today was our first day of school! We are year-round school so, we start a few weeks before everyone else. Natalie & Lindsey were both ready to go. Tyler was not quite ready though. He had a hard time this morning. I knew he'd forget me the moment we got to school though and he saw all his classmates. His teacher even invited them to come early this morning for donuts & juice. Natalie's class had a nice cream social in the afternoon! Pretty good first day!

We did Tyler's birthday pics the other day. They turned out pretty good. He doesn't seem to mind going for his birthday pictures still. Probably because he doesn't know any different!!! Love my boy!
We went to Waterworld on Tyler's birthday.We have season passes so, we go all the time but, this day we had both Grandma's with us and lots of friends to help Tyler ring in his 11th year! I bought one of those water proof cameras to use that day. The pictures turned out pretty good.
